The Saratoga Farmstead Bed and Breakfast

  Breakfast at The Saratoga Farmstead B&B is prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as high quality imported products.  Both owners are trained chefs, having been in the restaurant business for more than 30 years.  Many ingredients used  for breakfast are grown on the farm or come from local sources. 

Sample Menus 

• Applesauce pancakes with local maple syrup, sauteed apples, toasted pecans, agave-sweetened whipped cream and homemade sausage. 

• Agean Omelette with steamed baby spinach and feta cheese served with sauteed fingerling potatoes with fresh rosemary and salad of baby tomatoes, fresh basil and black olives.  Served with grilled pita and a starter of melon tossed with fresh mint and annisette. 

• Breakfast Burrito with whole wheat tortilla folded around eggs scrambled with chopped green chiles, sauteed onion and queso fresco. Served with avocado half filled with black bean and sweet corn salad, fresh salsa verde and baja cream. Starter of homemade strawberry margarita sorbet. 

• Frittata of Carmelized Zucchini and Onion, served with a salad of fresh baby greens and accommpanied by homemade bruschetta. To be enjoyed with an opener of organic yogurt and succulent peach parfait. 

• French toast using local artisan cinnamon/raisin bread served with homemade vanilla frozen yogurt topped with agave carmelized pecans and slices of poached pear.
